How low, with 18 inch rims??

I have a 06 v6, when I bought the car it was used and it came with lowering springs. Currently I have 18 inch cobra rims on my car, with the springs. But the springs are beginning to squeak, A LOT. So I need to get new ones.

What would be my best bet, should I go with another set of after market springs, or get used stock springs?

Maybe you need check your shocks. Can't really see your springs squeaking unless there are no isolators.

In other words you shouldn't need a new set of springs.

Your probably right it could be the shocks. But about a month ago I sprayed my springs with WD40 and the speaking stopped for about two days so I figured it was my springs

Its not the springs, its the poly bushings. Gaurantee. Silicone spray will work a lot better on them. They really need to be regreased or you need to swap the bushings out for rubber ones. Its not the springs fault.

Its not brain surgery but it is serious work. Involves removing the struts, tie rods, end links and having the.car way up in the air. The rear requires you to drop the lower control arms. If your not a bit of a car junkie your gonna need a shop. For now try some poly bushing grease and some silicone spray.
