Going from single to dual pipes on a 2006 v6

I'm wanting to add dual pipes to my mustang, and looks like the only way is to change the back bumper cover to a GT bumper. With that said I feel that if I change the back bumper I need to change the front one too,and sides. Kinda hate to get away from it being a true v6 look. If any one has any suggestions or ideas please feel free

Why do u need a gt rear bumper? Just have a body shop or your self cut out the other side, my friends wife has a V6 with dual exhaust and the bumper cut, I don't know if it a kit or who did it or her but she had trim around it to cover the cut marks looked good ill find a pic

Ok it worked I guess I was overloading my 3G network haha AT&T is steady trying to make me get rid of my unlimited data haha but don't mind the pink lights, that's what she wanted me to install, she had a silver stang with pink strips it looks nice, but ya you can see the black trim piece tho

Re: Going from single to dual pipes on a 2006 v6

You can dowload a template from the Pypes web site for making the cut. Just be sure to print it "full size" and don't let the printer use the "make it fit" or it will be off. Cutting the bumper is easy, I did it with a box cutter. Nothing behind it that you can reach or damage. I like the look of the cut V6 bumper more than the GT bumper; the only reason I changed to the GT bumper was the guy texting from his F250 while sitting behind me in traffic. It was cheaper to buy a GT take off and put it on (and let him pay to paint the stripes on my car) than it was to buy a new V6 bumper, paint it and cut it.
