Ok I just changed my fuel filter about three months ago or so new royal purple just put in new air filter new plugs and I just sea foamed it. But I never have had a transmission fluid flush and rear gears have never been relubed. So I guess I can do those things any idea on where I can get these jobs done ..I'm pretty mechanically inclined also

Re: Completely Lost!!!

Transmission you need to go the dealer. It requires a lot more than they used to. It can be done, but if you don't have access to a lift it is a real problem. You have to drain the transmission, then there is a tool you insert into the center section of the drain plug to pump fluid back up into the transmission. Then you have to run the car to get the transmission up to operating temperature so you can fill it the rest of the way - and the best way to fill it that second time is with the car running and in gear, not something I want to do with the car on jackstands in the driveway and me laying on my back underneath it.

Most transmission shops and quick lube places can't do the Ford sealed transmission. (no dipstick to fill or check the fluid level)
