Actually they aren't that bright after 5 feet, they are just to bright for the camera or when your parked and the area in front of you is pitch black. Once you turn on your headlights and fog lights, the halos are still visible but you have to be looking for them. And well I put the headlights about 3 months ago and had cheaper looking halo's on the grille so it drove me crazy and I bought the ccfl halos to match my headlights. And I believe the headlights were $185 and then the grille was $250 and the new grille halos were $125. Installation time could vary from 1 hour to 3 depends on how long it take for you to wire things and get the bumper off(which is really the hardest part). But just changing the grille lights out yesterday took about 1 hour.

Re: New halos! :D

Love the look! I've been looking at some myself. Anybody know if the smoked lights have a smoked/dark lens or if that just refers to the plastic housing being black instead of chrome?

I think they have a lens. Because you can choose either chrome or black housing

I mean they are a little bit dimmer but you can still clearly see everything

They are just as bright as the OEM fogs, I switched the bulbs our for silverstars because j wanted them to match the white headlamps.

You guys are confused... Halos come as led or CCFL, CCFL is way brighter than normal halos. Headlight come in hid, halogen and whatever else there is. CCFL is referring to the halo itself, HID to the headlight bulb. Not really related.

Good call! The non ccfl halos aren't bright and look rather cheap. The halos you buy off am are either ccfl or led. You can't buy hid ccfl halos off am.
