Auto to manual swap

Looking to swap to a manual transmission on my 07 v6. Has any one on here done this? Looking for how much it cost and what it will all take to do it. Thanks

Man a lot of work for sure!!! To be honest I wouldn't do it unless I were doing a v8 swap ....

But to really answer your question bout 500 for a junk yard tranny and plus labor... Then you have to re program your ecu ... Which you can do with a Sct tuned... Plus the clutch pedal and other incidentals... Around 2500 if you have hook ups...

Your car is nice BTW

Ya i plan on building it into a v8. And i know all of it is a lot of work but as you can see i have done a lot to it exterior wise so i dont wanna sell it for a v8 manual.

But i have also thought about getting one of the ratchet shifter but im not sure if that will be very realistic. If you have any other options or ideas to get that manual experience be sure to share.

And Thanks

Man nothing you can really do but do like an jlt cold Air intake.and a timer along with a good exhaust... A throttle body and spacer an coils and plugs... All of that will make more power with out breaking the bank and the Tuner will give firmer shift points...

I think hes more intrested in the feel of driving a manual but dosent want to waste all the work hes all ready put in. U can do a full race spec stage 3 shift kit with lock out and a high stall converter but the car wouldnt be really streetable after that and sadlly its not the same as grabin gears with a stick. If ur serious about it id budjet about 5-6gs bud in less u can get the tranny dirt cheep but i wouldnt go threw all the hastel unless ur putting at least a new viper spec race ready t-56 6 speed in it and there over 2500 brand new (this is the same thing ill be doing at a later time on mine but for now im sticking with a stage 2 shift kit and 410 gears) just be ready for alot of work/down time for the car and an empty wallet when your done.

That would be sick... For now I'm just gonna mod mines out with bolt ons and pay it off...lol and then buy a GT because the motor swap could possibly be parasitic due to the suspension, drivetrain. Basically I am saying its gonna be a pretty penny to do RIGHT
