there are two paths to go from here and I recomend getting a fuel pressure gauge if ur the D.I.Y. type and make sure your fuel pressue is in specification. If that is fine then you know its the sensor. Also you can test the sensor, expected voltages are between 4 and 6 volts I believe. The other path of course is just replacing the fuel filter since that's a maintenance item anyway, but if that doesn't fix it then get a new sensor and if that still doesn't fix it then we start troubleshooting the fuel pump.
