Tensioner pulley squeeking

I have a 06 4.0, after a few months of squeaking at mid - high rpm's I finally took it to my dads shop to get it looked at. His mechanic determined it is the tensioner pulley. I am going to have it fixed this weekend, but as I read online this is a very common problem with the 4.0L. Has anyone on here had this same problem? If so how many times have you replaced it?

I have a 07 V6. I had mine replaced at year 4 of owning it from brand new. I have had it on for a little over a year now and havent had any issues with it since. The squeeling was driving me insane. At first i didn't know where it was coming from. It sounded like a bad fan belt wheel.

Same problem, same fix. Buy a quality replacement so u dont have to fix it again.

I ordered a oem one from ford. Is there more durable ones?

I saw a billet one somewhere when I was looking into it, maybe Steeda or Shelby, but it was a little pricey and was planning on trading in my car in 6 months (now 1 1/2!) so didnt pull the trigger.

Ya I'll just try to stock one for now it was 30$ with the belt, I also get 70% off oem and aftermarket. I love my job
