Unhappy PLEASE, PLEASE HELP!!!

So, I JUST bought a 2005 Mustang. She ran great when I first got her. However now she's randomly acting up and I have not been doing anything specific to "piss off" the car. Out of nowhere, she'll go into engine fail safe mode. She did that a couple times and if I just pulled over and turned the car off for ten minutes, it would go away. It did it to me again yesterday but it would not come out of that mode and this time the engine light is on and is staying on! She "chuggs" when im driving, seems to idle a bit funny. Firstly I thought something had to me misfiring or I had to replace a spark plug or two. I checked the codes today, this is what I got....
P0616* Starter Relay Circuit Low Voltage (no info on this anywhere!!!)
P2106* Throttle actuator control system-forced limited power
P0456 Evaporated emission control leak (very small)
P0616* double
P0106* double

NOTE, that it gave me 5 codes, two of which showed up twice. The diagnostics thing showed them exactly the same, no different.

I have researched the codes, symptomes, and fixes for hours! There are so many possibilities! My best ideas so far are replacing the gas cap and cleaning the TPS, possibly replacing that too. I am a single mom and university student and would really appreciate ANY insight or similar experiences that all of you may have as I dont exactly have the money to go on a wild parts shopping spree.

Thank-You All

That sounds exactly like what happened to me, It wouldn't make a sound when the engine would fail on me. it turned out to be the throttle body. I went to ford and they change it but it was a lot of money. But in the end it was worth it haven't hard a problem since. I had a warranty to cover the 300 bucks for the part but I still payed 300 bucks for labor and alinement. I would suggest for the price of 300 you buy one for American muscle and have somebody install it for cheaper.

If I remember correctly I think it has something to do with a "limp" mode... I don't remember what the problem is or what the solution is but I do remember that it is not good

That used to happen with mine. The failsafe mode. I would just shut it down and restart it. Did it for a while. Usually after having the cruise control on then stopping. Mine just stopped. Hasn't done it for lime 2 years. That's about all I n ow about the problem.

Take It to a little body shop/mechanic, and tell them what you have to spend for them to determine the problem.in this economy they won't turn down a reasonable offer. You'd be suprized at the prices you could get away with.
