The very first thing you should do is get a cold air intake and a tuner.

Tuner is the biggest help, especially if you're auto

+1 with the tuner intake combo. American muscle made 40rwhp with a 93 octane tune, a cai, and an offroad exhaust (from x-pipe to tailpipes)

Another thin would be dual exhaust conversion, it won't GIVE you power but it will release back pressure through the pipes making it more efficient which will cause an increase in horsepower.

I'm planning on getting the Ford Racing Power Pack, it claims 15hp and 17lb/ft of torque but surely they're just being modest!

T-lok! Tuner cai, duals, if manual get a stage1/2 clutch. 4:10 gears, although I can't stand performance gears of any kind. Everyones different.that's the cheapest way to get power out of your car.that's roughly 1200$-1500$ depending on if you are patient enough to find deals.

I wouldn't suggest the ford racing package. I looked at it for a long time before getting am muscle's tuner. Best thing I ever did, free tunes for life, so if you change gears, rims, tires, intake, anything, you get a new tune to fit your setup and they don't have to follow government regulations...

Yea I feel ya but you really can't beat their deal with what all you get with it...and plus their tuner is made by ford for ford so it doesn't bypass any oxygen sensors and what not, point being it'll keep my engine safe

You'll keep you engine safe with am muscle's and you'll pull more go outta the right cai and tune than u will with cai, tune, and exhaust from frpp. Do some checking around, you'll find some interesting info about it. Like filter is not reusable.

Save $200, have better performance!

Also, the frpp kit reuses your same intake tube, kits like that are usually pretty cheap. Do what u want and have fun with it though, just a little info for u

Do they really claim that? That is hard to believe...I have all of the mentioned things, and I garuntee I didn't pick up 40 to the wheels. Not saying you're wrong, but idk how that could be true.

08mustang, Check out the Amercian Muscle v6 project car video. This is what you are looking for not to say that there is not other vendors out there. The video gives actual gains on different addon. I'd stay away from the N2 though.
