New AM Wheels and tires ...

Needed new sneaks for my 6 Banger , was lookin at $500 +
I had the factory Bullit wheels , witch I really like ,but mine were a little hagged ( previous owner )
so I was thinking of picking up a new set , well AM had a sale on thier 18x9 Bullits , witch are a little bigger than the factory 17x8 's
so I went with them , with 255-45-18 tires , sweet
theyr'e also a little flashier with the larger lip ,wasn't sure about the deeper lip ,because I'm old school ,but they look sweet ......
very happy with them , also got 10% the sale price , total $ 929

Anybody ever swap two rims? I've got factory 18" chrome bullets but I'd like a wider tire in the back. Does it work to just swap on two rears?

Yeah, I'll keep the 18s on all, but go with a 9.5 or 10" width.

Mine are definitely not normal bullets. Any idea what these are called or where to find them?

I don't know just what they are. It's a 45th anniversary edition, so maybe special to that.
Haven't seen the new gt wheels

The year on the car Is 2009.5 so it was right after the s197 and right before the new style.

Re: New AM Wheels and tires ...

Yeah im in the same boat. 800 for tires for 1300 for a tire package. Kinda makes it hard to pass up. Plus with the car coming out on the road soon makes you want it all the more
