Suspension

I am about to fully convert my factory suspension system. Im shopping around to see whats the best prices and what people have used and like the most. Open to any suggestions. Thanks!

Check with CDC (classicdesignconcepts.com) they had a special going with the FRPP shocks, struts, springs, and a rear sway bar.

it all depends on how "deep" into it you wish to get. If its a daily driver that is different from a autox car or a drag car, depends on which path you wish to go down.

You can do a few minor things to update it and make it handle much better such as

springs (progressive rate)
shocks/struts (valved to match spring rate)
shorter end links (for sway bar in front)
caster/camber plates for alignement needs
full length weld in sub frame connectors for helping body flex

thats a good start.

Thanks SpectorV. As of right now its a daily driver so ill probably just improve on what the factory system had. Ill let you know how it goes when i figure it out

Check out latemodelrestoration.com I've got my suspension kit on order now should be in any day now. I went with the eibach pro system plus, strut tower brace, and CC plates

Actually the S197 is very different from the Fox bodies or the SN95. The sub frame connectors on the S197 aren't needed because we don't get as much flex (even on my convertible) as the prior generation.
