Shelby Cobra Emblems

Will the three piece cobra emblem kit from American muscle fit on an 08 v6? If I get a billet grille will the grille emblem snap on to it?

Re: Shelby Cobra Emblems

the side ones just stick on, there MIGHT be a guide hole~ but it should match to the existing OEM hole the current emblem is over.

For the grill its differnet, no idea how it would work and probably wont using the factory one.

with all that said, please do not put cobra badges on your V6....

Nooooooooooooooooope !!!! Never do such a thing. There's threads that "clown" this type of mods so think twice before you do it.

Or they heard it, or didn't see and Shelby brakes or suspension. There is alot you'd need and its still just sad. Please for all 6 owners... do not do this

Bro a v6 will never be mistaken sound wise for a shelby. Plus you'll need a body kit basically all around plus new roaters and brakes. Please!! NOOOOOO
(Plus I have all the mods you stated and a youtube video of my exhaust and it doesn't not sound near to a Shelby or even a GT for that matter!)

Im passionate about keeping mustangs how they should be...

And I have CAI, headers, pypes true dual, 93 octane race tune, and performance spark plugs.
Haven't had the money to dyno yet but im guessing around 210 to the wheels and about 195-205 torque to the wheels

Re: Shelby Cobra Emblems

Be proud of any work you do to your 6er... I just love telling people that it's really a v6 under my hood... Yes, some people (new to mustangs) will ask a nice sounding v6 if they have a v8 "sleeper"... but I just love seeing the surprised looks when I pop the hood! and 30+ mpgs never hurt anyone nowadays either...

On that note... NO COBRA EMBLEMS ON A V6... please....

Re: Shelby Cobra Emblems

it was 29 mpg stock... 5 spd gets better mileage than an auto

and opening the intake and exhaust put me over 30 mpgs hwy... installing the 3.73s put me back to about 28 mpgs... but still pretty good

hey i bet that exhaust doesnt add as much hp as your performance spark plugs.let me guess, they have multiple prongs that block the direct path to the fuel charge.lol. just messing with you man.

Re: Shelby Cobra Emblems

There is only one way that makes it okay to fake a Shelby. Buy a V6, find a wrecked Shelby, swap in engine, exhaust, suspension, drivetrain, brakes, all body mods and do it all yourself. Otherwise you will be exiled from calling yourself a Mustang fan. You're going against everything that is a muscle car. Ricer...
