the 2011 is better because it has almost 100 more hp and a 6 speed tranny. it does have lower gears though. the 2010 is the unwanted mustang, new body, old engine

Agreed with the 2010 but the better part of the 05-10 engine is that it's much less computerized meaning it'll last longer

If I had to choose between an 05-09 v6 vs a 10 v6 I would go with 10 because you get the new body style. But if you had the option of getting a 2011 v6 I would choose that over a 10 v6 any day.

I like the retro look of the 05-09 over the 10 but that could be bias lol. All mustangs are good, but forsure the 05-09 is better for customizations IMO

+1 the s197 has so much potential with the big 4.0 engine too. plus i know people who mock those with the 2010 for not really doing their homework because you pay almost the same price for the 2011 with 100 less horsepower and better fuel economy

I think with the mustangs past two body styles has been the 2 best body styles in a row for a coupe any one has ever built, both styles have pros of there own,and to think all this came from 2005-now, will only get better from here

I prefer the old school look of the s197, but the power of the 2011+ is more important to me. I feel like ford decided to compete in similarity of looks with the camaro/challenger and I think they should have kept on their own path.

I think looks wise the s197 looks alot more aggressive/mean, and the newer models look more sporty/sleeker. I love my s197 and the looks of it still puts a smile on my face.
