What could be the problem?

I installed a new battery and alternator. On occasion the battery light will come on and it will say check charging system. I drove it back to where I bought the battery and alternator and he put the tester on it and it seemed to be working fine. The battery light doesn't stay on, its only intermittent. Checked the wires on both all are tight. Any suggestions?

Yeah,,,its weird, because I took the car back to the auto store today (O'Reilly) and they put their tester on it and it was working fine and the battery was good too...IDK...but I do have a lifetime warranty on the alternator.

Electrical stuff is funny. And you'd be surprised, it could still be bad.

Yeah, it'll probably start going out soon, but at least it has a warranty and pretty easy to change out.
