I think it would look good to a certain extent they are only called lambo doors cause those are the most common cars with them, but actually they are called vertical doors and I was thinking about them too. Plus its not like tons of people will see it anyways, only when you enter and exit the car

Re: Lambo doors.

The people in my area gawk over vertical doors whenever they see them, so it depends on an area if it is a go or no go for you... I also think they are handy because when opening your door you don't have to worry about anything next to you because they go up instead of out.

You gotta have a long enough reach to close em though, Id think, or an extra handle or you could sit and close at once...lol. Get it fluid, though, add Recaros and you got a cockpit!

Re: Lambo doors.

From personal experience do not do it to a daily driver
My fiance learned that the hard way and I've had to help him pay to get them back to stock

I have underglow and have been pulled over a couple times for it with no tickets. I just use it for night shows now. I enjoy that extra hint of red

Only car I've seen with Lambo doors in my area are civics, so there is very poor reception towards them where i live. A lil rice to me but you can maybe pull em off.

It depends on the kind of look your trying to pull off I guess, I don't like drawing attention to myself, and doing it in a way that has no practical benefit and may be potentially awkward. Also I normally open the door for my gf and I just think doors function and look best horizontally and have there own elegance as so. My exception would be a Deloreans stock vertical doors.

I have a kit from vertical doors inc and love it! I bought it used and installed it myself. Looks great and they don't go up unless I put them up, otherwise they open as normal. Makes going to the grocery store look a lot less pretentious... It's a personal taste thing. Also, there are a lot of people who diss them because they can't afford them, but they do look sweet!

Re: Lambo doors.

Oh, they can open both ways. That changes things, I wouldn't mind if I could choose.
