4.10 gears

i want to get 4.10 gears and since im at about 95k miles im going to get the bearing and install kit with it but where would be a good place to get it installed? and what would be a good price? i have the tuner already that has the option of changing the settings to different gear ratios

Are gears a good idea to buy? I have 75000 miles on mine and I'm not sure if I should put a whole lot of money in it. How much more performance will I get from them?

your car will pull much much harder with 4.10s but you will also lose gas mileage. i have 95k miles on my car and i am probably going to get them at the end of may

people say that they gained 1-2 mpg with the cai but i dont think its true. you will definitely notice a decrease in mpg with the gears, regardless of whether you have a cai or not. its almost impossible to get better gas mileage with gears that without even with a couple of bolts ons that quote a couple of mpg gains

Actually it is possible to get better gas mileage with 4:10s, although not usually... If you do lost of highway/freeway driving you will lose mpg because you will be at a higher rpm, but if it is mostly stop and go traffic the it will allow you to accelerate quicker with less amount of throttle which means you can possibly gain mpg... This is not true for every time, it's a rare case that I have seen only a few times. Most of the Ike you will lose just a few mpgs though but gain so much more punch at the line.

You could get a tuner and that would possibly help your MPG but it all depends on your driving style

My buddy with a 03 cobra told me about this place called Arizona differential so I called them and they said it would only be 225 if I brought in the gears and bearing kit
