good or bad?

Is it a good idea to change the look of a regular v6 into the body style of other mustangs such as roush or boss or should I not bother? I don't want people to think that I'm false advertising my car

Re: good or bad?

i believe that putting on a body kit isn't a bad thing, as long as you don't badge the car as something its not.

Yeah I don't plan on doing that, I was looking at engines too but did not know of a good place to buy from and I don't exactly have all the materials to put it in such as a crane

yes that can be a pretty big project. lots of time and money. and not having the right materials/tools can make it a lot more expensive. do it piece by piece. it'll take time of course, but thats the fun part

I wouldn't do an engine swap. After that and everything that goes into it along with all the body work you want to do, that money could be spent on a new car. Use that money along with a trade and you could pic up a slightly used GT or even a 13 V6. Just my opinion. I was thinking about going that route with my 04 but I'm glad I didn't and now I have a brand new car

That's how I felt. Problem is, all his friends he hangs out with are ricers so he thinks rice is cool. I've given up on him... Says he'd rather have a 92 civic with a bunch if crap done to it over a ferrari. Sure you can make a civic fast, but it's still a civic and a pos. I gotta take some pics of his car and post them up on here. Hope my camera doesn't break..

Yeah why not, go for it and post some pics. Personally I have the roush hood scoop and chrome grill on mine and I like their stuff. Like everyone else said, just don't go crazy badging it with anything lol.

Lol hate to admit it but I had a 97 Civic coupe back in high school. It was a nice car to start out with but thats about it besides the economical benefit.

Ha! I drove a 98 Civic 4 door! Besides being annoying as hail, when I sold the thing I averaged 48 miles/gallon and could throw fire out the exhaust!
