Traction control

My car doesn't have the option to turn it on and off, so is there a way I can turn it off?

Re: Traction control

If there is no option to turn it on or off then it might not have come with it. Is yours a V6 base or premium? What types of packages did it come with? It very well could have come without it.

It's a premium, I know there is no option to do it inside the car. I was wondering if I could take it somewhere or something to have it taken off

Re: Traction control

The car should have a way to turn it off... I know that with a tune you can disable it for good... Whenever someone turns of trac control and they turn the car off then back on it will be back on... A tune can make it stay off.

There should be a button next to the power plug that says TCS

Re: Traction control

If you don't have the button that says TCS on the upper right of the center stack, then you don't have it.

Re: Traction control

I have an 05 V6 premium with this & on the top of the center stact there's a button marked TCS & this turns the system off & on. When this is turned off a light shows up on the dash to show it's turned off (just like if you turn off the overdrive). If you do not have the TCS button your car doesn't have this option.
