Rear window louver

I'm not sure whether the louver over the full back window would look good or not. And the louvers for the quarter window, should I color match or go with the black?

Rear window louvers really add an old school look

Depends on the look you want to go for... Classic then yes, sleek then no, head turner it depends on what else you have.

I really like the look of em but the visibility scares me. Especially with quarter window louvers making it tough to see sometimes already.

Love mine, I'm thinking of adding the full back window. So many options

I wouldn't recommend it it decreases visibility backing up and if u crash into someone or run them over they will say if u didn't have the rear window cover u would have seen them

Re: Rear window louver

Rear window louvers aren't covers, you can see perfectly fine through them because of their angle.

That's true, but when I do I'm planning of adding a rear view camera as well, just for precautions 😁

I don't have them myself, but I was under the impression that the louvres were designed at an angle such that visibility isn't damaged much, maybe im wrong?

If it was just the rear window louvers I wouldn't mind but I have the closed in quarter window louvers so it is a bit dangerous if I were to get the rear.

No they are cheap plastic and aren't cut very well. Around the edges you can tell its not straight and a little wavy. I would stick with name brand or anything off of a.m. Should be good.

If you're a good driver you really don't need to see out of the quarter windows or the rear window for that matter, I drive a truck for work with no visibility on the rear window and I reverse all the time, never been in an accident, just saying.

Without looking through quarter windows - manageable. Without looking through rear window(at least in the mirror)-accident waiting to happen...

I say go for the rear louvers if that's the look you're going for. I think they look nice on mustangs but not what I want for mine. Last week I put on the paint matching side louver set from AM on mine. They look nice, install somewhat easily, good quality material, perfect paint match and only cost $200.
