fuel economy?

I was curious to know if anyone knows of a mod that really gives a substantial gain in mpg, gas is a killer these days

There's really no one thing out there besides the driver mod. Drive better and fuel economy will increase

Cai, true dual x pipe, larger throttle body, and a feather foot.

I have a dual exhaust conversion, screamin demon coils, cai, taylor plug wires, and ngk plugs. When i put it on the economy tune and feather foot it, i get about 28 mpg average. Normally with the performance tune...i get about 22

I've never heard of an economy tune. Maybe because I'm not too concerned with gas prices, that's why I bought a mustang instead of a prius lol. And by "normal", do u mean punching the pedal or still feather foot?

I dont feather foot at all normally, but my wife does. I usually accelerate fast then cruise at around 10-15 mph over the speed limit unless i get on the autobahn...i set the cruise control at 95. At that speed, and cruising for a long time, the car surprisingly gets around 25 mpg.

I noticed that it takes a half tank to Austin from Dallas. That's about 200 miles.

With a 06' 4.0l v6, throttle body spacer, jba shorties, vortech supercharger, cobra injectors, and fresh champion rs10lc spark plugs "coldest ones you can get". City I've been averaging 21.1mpg in the last two days. I'll take it on the freeway sometime this weekend for a long trip and reset the ecometer.

But honestly before my plug change I was getting 18.4 city! That's nearly 3mpg city difference. I was too busy in life to notice the power difference until I started hearing the knock pulling up my driveway.

Can't wait to see what I'm able to pull off on the freeway. Assuming I was getting 27-28mpg I could see 30-31mpg freeway!

Hey dude stupid question but what is that a picture of? Looks pretty cool and like it fits in the driver air vent.

It's the autometer ecometer. It comes with its own gauge pod. I modified it to fit inside a roush vent pod one side I have my boost gauge the other I have the ecometer.
