2008 gt hood on a 2005 v6

Does anybody know if a 2008 gt hood will fit on a 2005 v6

My gf messed up my hood and I know a guy that selling a 2008 gt hood for a $100 in a similar color

The first car was daydreaming didn't notice the green light, second brake suddenly, and third my gf didn't have time to react bc the roads was wet

If you can get a replacement for $100 that's pretty good. If that's the only thing that's damaged

Damn that does suck, sorry to heart that. I only let my gf drive mine when I need a dd lol.

But yeah the hood should fit just fine and $100 is not bad at all. Hopefully the color difference isn't much or who knows it might look pretty cool off color.

It was the smoke gray , but after countless emails the guy said he barely checks his emails and had just sold it !omfg! Don't care, did this to ease my pain away

Re: 2008 gt hood on a 2005 v6

The hoods are all the same so if you find one for the GT it will fit. The only hood that doesn't fit is the GT500 - it will mount to the car, but will leave a big gap between the grill and the hood because of the different front bumper and grill used on the Gt500

It's to bad you can't blend that color in somehow, if would look nice if you ran a stripe with the good color down from the hood to the back of the car. Maybe you could plastidip a border along the edge of the hood by the fender and taper it to the rear of the car?
