Manley forged pistons and rods, SSM stage 2+ ported heads, ARP cylinder head studs and match ported distribution manifold would be the main things.

You can safely run a supercharger without a built engine as log as the tune is spot on and everything thing is in good working order. I had an MP90 on this Mustang for 114,000 mile on stock internals but popped a piston at 144,000 miles during an autocross due to a fuel starvation issue. This was totally my fault and nothing to do with the engine. I did a built engine for a little more security and to be able to go with much more boost without worry.

As Nice Pony said, no need to build the engine to run an Xcharger.

I installed it on my old car at 90,000 miles after two years on a 75 shot of nitrous. Sold the car last month with 203,000 on it and it was still running 12's at the drag strip.
