This has happened several times to me since I bought my stang, and it only happens when I take a turn. The fuel gauge will go down to about 15 miles to E after the turn. Has anyone else experienced this? And what could be a solution to fix this?

I don't want to sound like a tard, but wth is a stepper motor and what exactly is its function? also, would this possibly be covered by a warranty?

Could this also cause a problem with the temp gauge? Mine will do two different things. Some times it won't move at all. Just sits at C. Other times it won't reset to C when I turn off or when I turn it back on. This causes it to appear to be overheating because apparently the guage thinks it's reset iteslf to C so as the engine heats up the gauge moves up towards H and sometimes beyond.

Once again, is this something that would be covered by a warranty?
I would rather not spend the cash on something so small yet necessary...

I'll have to wait and see. I have an after market warranty. It's supposed to cover EVERYTHING. Consumer reports "Best Buy" so hopefully it's as good as the dealer told me.

I really don't think so bc ford gives only 36000 mile warranty or first 3 years warranty, so your factory warranty expired 3 years ago.....I bought mine in 2008 : 05 v6 48000 miles for $11999 @ $315/ month.....they told me if I wanted to buy lo jack insurance just in case it got stolen bc supposedly its the most stolen car in america and also a extended warranty that didn't come from the dealership and boy I was glad I said no to both, best decision I ever made

Well I know used cars come with some sort of electrical warranty but I don't know what the standard warranties are for dealerships in MN
