Plasti dip the wheels

What's up guys, I'm planning to plasti dip my wheels soon, anyone know how many spray cans are enough to cover the four wheels with about four coats?
I have the 05 stock 16" wheels.
And I'll plasti dip my taillight panel maybe tomorrow, anyone did it before?
Thanks in advance.

Maybe 1-2 cans. Topless did his whole car with like 8 cans.

Wow that does look good. How did you do that, did you just tape up all the area around it?

Nice. That's how I did mine. Actually the wife asked me to peel the part over the pony in the middle off. I liked it better with that part black.

Thanks, actually I taped the top part and covered the taillights and the bumper, but the trick is that you have to spray it and remove the tape directly before it get dry, or it's gonna peel off with the tape!

Lol I customized it in a license plate shop that I found in the mall, I asked the guy and he pulled the picture from the Internet and printed it for me on a plate, it cost me like 20 bucks, and you can choose any design and add any text you want, check if there is any customized license plate shop near you and they will do it for you!

I used the thinnest available blue masking tape over the "face" of the rim. It is the perfect width to cover those and nothing else. Make sure you pull the tape AS SOON as you are done spraying.
