Are 2005 Mustang V6 transmissions in production?

2005 Mustang V6 under warranty needs a new transmission. Dealer says the transmissions are not in production. Is this true? Premium Care warranty requires genuine Ford parts not some aftermarket substitute. What should the dealer do to replace the transmission?
I can't believe that there is not a new transmission somewhere in the continental US that can be shipped to the dealer.

Auto or manual? I don't see why they will not rebuild it. All so Parts like Transmissions are not made by Ford, Ford contracts those out. So if they are not in current use, then they are out of production. The fact that it is still under warranty does not mean, you get NEW Trans, they just fix-it.

I went through the same problem with my eclipse transmission. Mine went out and a new one would cost 5k I was under the warranty miles by 100 miles. They told me that since I didn't use Mitsubishi transmission fluid they won't touch it. So what I did was first wrote on the complaint list of America. Then I sent my complaint to my local tv station. Then after a month I got a new transmission. Don't let that go. If you want it done you have to put some effort into it. It's written that auto makers will try anything not to replace a transmission.

Exactly why I dislike premium care. I couldn't get the dealer to replace anything that was covered with it. I don't expect to them to do work that's not covered.
