5.0 coyote swap

Let's say money was no object. What is everything that would be needed to drop a the new coyote engine in a 2005 V6 mustang? I know obviously the crate engine, MT82 tranny, 8.8" rear axle assembly, electrical system. Anything im missing?

Re: 5.0 coyote swap

by electrical system you are referring to the wiring harness correct? and for tranny i'd probably go with t-56, mt82 is not a must. cutting, welding, big cojones (that's a helluva project)

Grabber, my Buddy has had his car sponsored for over a year and the companies that sponsored him put over 80k into it for him and now they're working on sponsoring my car so I just wanted to know what it would take. Any general price estimates? I know the crate engine alone is super expensive

I'm guesstimating 15k in parts alone, and I'm referring to the must have parts only, but there is probably several thousand more that you would want to add too. Brakes, wheels, many suspension items, chassis stiffening, interior upgrades. There's alot involved, that doesn't include a penny of labor either

Yea I'm gonna be getting close to 5k a month just to throw into my car and I would do the brakes and suspension and rear axle first to avoid destroying anything after spending all of the money on go fast parts. Do you think the 5.0 would not be as smart of an idea as swapping a 4.6 or a 5.4 since those are designed for my year car? I've seen a 5.4L swap in a V6 before and I could always refer to that I guess

Not necessarily, some people have already done the 5.0 swaps into foxes and new edge bodies, plus the. 5.4 would be even more
