| Re: Gt500 muffler
The GT500 up to the 2010 model year used the same muffler as found on the GT with an automatic. Nothing special about that muffler - but people will pay big bucks because it comes off a GT500.
Same thing with people jumping on the "GT500 side skirts" - nothing more than the stock V6 side skirt.
As far as sound, it isn't bad but nothing better than the GT manual muffler which has a little deeper tone to it. And no drone (I had the GT500 mufflers on my old Mustang - and got a great deal on it for a set up from the cats back for $85 shipped). I checked the part numbers and confirmed that it was the same as found on any GT with an automatic.

True they are the same on the GT500 as on the GT. There is nothing wrong with them but you can get a good idea of what they sound like from any other GT or V6 with GT takeoffs.
I am using the Ford Racing axlebacks that came stock on the GT Bullitts for our years. They look slightly better and sound slightly better. I recommend looking into these.

No I think its a muffler delete pretty much | He's right. It's a straight through pipe muffler delete system. With I think some perforations in the pipe (used to be muffler)

Pype bombs are resonators, so yes they are pretty much the same as glass packs except they use more baffling to reduce the high pitched noise leaving the deeper tone, it will be loud but it won't be ricer noise.
Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-XlLTPlpLs
And i've also heard them in real life, they sound great.

Just because I don't own one doesn't mean i can't respect, love admire and be around them on a daily basis. And why is it that no one else feels that i start ****? Why is it only you that i seem to annoy? Now i think that is saying something.....
