Blown headgaskets

So I bought my mustang v6 not even a month got stranded in traffic while it was over heating and blown my head gaskets. Thinking about just bringing it to the dealership and saying I'm not paying for this lemon anymore bc they don't wanna cover it. Any thoughts

Go park it on your day off in front of their dealership with a sign on say " They sold me a lemon "

Head gasket will sometimes blow water out of the radiator cap too,,due to compression gases,,is it doing that too??The only way to know for sure is do a air leak test

if you have to do it yourself,,do a airleak test first ,,its not hard to do,,look it up on line and you can prob find a video..The 4.2 i was talking about had the same symptom..I acually found it while i was taking the intake off to remove the heads,,replace the intake and gaskets and it was fine..after that we prob had 10 of them with the same problem,,most were just the intake gaskets..But if ur letting ford do it they will figure it out for ya..good luck,,and sorry it happened

Do you mean the air leak test..You pull all the plugs,,take your compression hose that you screw in the cylinder,,remove the schrader valve out of the compression hose,,screw in the hose in the cylinder,,apply about 50psi of air,,but first make sure the piston is at the bottom of the suspect cylinder and the valves are closed,,you shouldnt hear any air,,if you hear air from the cylinder next to it then its the head gasket,,If it passes the test i would figure the intake leaking..If your not comfortable doing it i would just let ford make the call,,
