Pony Package chrome

Does anyone know how to remove the chrome bezel on the pony package grill? Without any permanent damage! Or with.. I'd prefer it not to get messed up though.

You can remove the chrome ring it only has 4 clip holding it on a little pulling and it will come off.

I'm pretty sure I broke two of them trying to pop them out of the back.. hopefully they're ok. I'll try just pulling at it tomorrow!

Wait, is that only for 2010+ PP, or the older ones too?

I'm not sure but I think it's for 10 and newer cause we have the fog lights in the front which I don't think will be supported by a few clips

I figured it was for the 10 up, but the fogs on ours aren't attached to the actual chrome, they're on the grille itself. So do you think the chrome would be held on there relatively the same as the newer ones? With the clips that is.

Well maybe I'm not exactly sure. You could try and look online. I'm sure someone has done what you are trying to do

Ok I know a body shop guy and he said you have to remove the grill and then you can unclip the chrome and lights. There will however be holes where you take it out so you may as well replace the whole grill for cosmetic purposes unless you want the holes

I took the whole grille out and found that out earlier lol and as far as the holes, I put a billet over lay on it so I can't see 'em anyway I just had to get the chrome off so it could sit far back enough that I can keep the fogs and have the billet over them!
