engine swap?

I have a 05 v6 4.0. Im looking to build up the v6 . But i want to find a low mileage engine. My question is do i need to do the 05 or will any year work?

If you're looking to get a 4.0 I'm 90% sure any year will work.

I am hoping so. Im looking for a low mileage engine i can build up. Mine has almost 120khere on it

Jim c has done a lot of big mods, you might talk to him. And check out mustang collective, those guys really know their stuff. I know a heavily modified 4.0 can really make 200k.

Mine isnt gna be a daily driver. Mainly show and track car. I only put on 5k miles a year. I have a 2012 focus for my daily
