What all constitutes 'full exhaust'?

What exactly is the mid pipe? I already have the ford racing true dual conversion kit, so I need headers and what else?

The midpipe is the pipe between your mufflers and headers. It connects the two

An x pipe came with the exhaust kit. Would I still need to get a different one?

If you're going to get longtubes then yea you will need a different one which would be a shorty midpipe that connects you're headers and you're catback together
