Much better idea. Process for easy improving:
1. Tuner (especially automatic)
2. Cai
3. Exhaust

Others include:
Drivetrain
Throttle body
Built engine
Forced induction/nitrous
Slicks/tires
Weight reduction
Suspension

Thank you "Spector V", I was wondering when someone was going to say that, and surprised that No one before you mentioned that to that guy.

A Spacer is just that "A SPACER". Nothing else. If you put a spacer block under a can of Beer, are you getting more Beer? are you getting a stronger Beer? NO. Just makes the Beer can look taller.

I think it's pretty much personal preference as long as it does require a tune.

A spacer on a TB is just restricing the airflow back down to 65mm. I just wanted to throw that out there for everyone who has a spacer on there TB.

Id go with a CAI I bought the cheaper one from AM and was amazed with how much it helped.

I would recommend spending alittle more $$$ and get a BBK throttle body rather than spacer. Mine woke up the throttle reponse.

Definitely not...agreed that's all ya need on 11-now stangs cause they have cold air induction but our intake systems do not and a cai will provide that and there for more power and the fact that the larger filter and airtube will allow more air into the motor resulting in more hp as well

I got the tuner an cai package a while back as my first mod ... It was a pretty good deal an at the time ( before the 2011 mustangs ) it wasn't to bad when it came to hp by the time I graduated I had most of all my mods down like full exhaust tb tune coil pack etc... An I got a little money here an there from the rich kids in there bmws an the import guys around town then I came to Orlando for college ... I had to step my game up lol right now all I need is some form of forced induction an some motor work ( cams , heAds , stroker kit )an I might .... have the fastest six in Orlando
