It should fit. If your car has the t5 it's not factory but no it wouldn't hold up. Rear end upgrade would be needed.

It's a ***** trust me I did the rear end , brakes , an suspension i couldnt even imagine a whole drivetrain swap but if its not going to be your weekend drag car I wouldn't recommend it ! It's a huge head ache

The t5 will not bolt up to a mod motor. You will need a 96-up gt or cobra trans for the swap.

In the gt that would be correct, they used the t5 in the v6 cars till either 09 or 10.

Yes, only in the GT's and Cobras. 2011 is the first year they shared transmissions since 95. Do your research.

Idk where your at in the u.s but there's 05-09 gt's going for less then 20k which is less then what u would spend on a full swap if done right .... Just the drive train will go 10-15k then u have to upgrade literally everything so when u think about ur coming close to if not surpassing 30000$

It would be worth it over the 4.0, but it may be cheaper to sell and buy a gt.

Never know, he may have a parts car to pull off of. Other then that I didn't want to be the typical v8 owner and just say "buy a gt". Lol

Yeah I don't plan on ever getting rid of it. Still looking for the transmission I would need and would the six pull the new trans kind of a build a little at a time thing 1 trans 2 brakes 3 shocks/struts 4 motor and wire harness 5 rear end? Would this work maybe even the rear end before the motor?

Rear end , brakes , k member , suspension , drivetrain / harness ... In that order . But I thought about doing it once then I bought the 8.8 rear end cause either way if I boosted the 6 or swapped it I'd still need the 8.8 but holy **** I'm going to say this now doing the rear end was the biggest ***** ever !!!! Js

I don't plan on building a show car here so I doubt I'd hit 30k on parts I'm going to buy stuff used. Saw a post earlier about jdm 2jz engine would this be a good power to weight combo or would it sound foreign instead of beast

I mean if I was going to do a swap I would want it to be unique an fast I mean if I didn't already have the money into my mustang that I have already an if I wasn't in college an if I could even find a 2jz motor I might do it lol an that's if I had a 2011 +5.0
