Mine just went out on the 7th and there was no warnings what so ever. I installed a new one for like $50 or so took about 30 minutes. I was sitting at a red light droped it to first gear got about 30 feet and boom the housing blew and went of in a cloud of steam.

So the thermostat is new, with new coolant I assume, so that leaves the water pump as the next suspect!

Yeah I was thinking that or the fans, I didn't hear the fans on when it was overheating.... I don't want to go to the dealer again. They take for ever and they charge a lot like they wanted to charge me 400 for the thermostat last time.
How can I check the water pump and the fans to see if they work
