filling the tank problem..

I know this is an inconvinience on the s197 when filling up the tank.. Anybody know how to fix it?? I tried not pushing the pumps trigger all the way and it works but its slow takes up alot of time because its almost 3 gallons that dont fill up

Try and turn it sideways. Silverskoundrel told me and its worked great

Do a 90 degree turn, should work better. the 05-09s are notorious for that problem.

Funny you mention it mine has progressively gotten worse. Today it was insane I went to three pumps before I got it to work right. Thanks for the advice!

Lol what could be the cause for this?? I tought i was getting bad mpg but now i know its because im like 2-3gallons short.. I should be getting close to 300miles to a thank noww

I've heard there's a vent pipe on the top of the tank...spiders like to live in there. Once they take residence the web clogs it up. Once that happens just assume that your gonna be filling up our tank at three different stations unless you clean it out.

It's so annoying for me I might just clean it out once summer comes around. I hate looking like a dousche at the pumps.

I filled my tank today and I turned it 90 degrees. I will see how my mpg looks after trying this.
