Shot to S#^&

So after being in the hospital and having my sister steal my car to tote around her and her five kids, my suspension is shot. My shocks, struts, and springs are gone and need to be replaced. My question is what do u guys think I should do? Should I replace all with factory components or go after market and possibly lower it? If after market what kind, how much (guesstimate), and can it be done in the driveway? O I have an 07 V6 Vert

I'm not an expert on this matter but I've noticed some people selling what you're looking for in the parts section of the forum. AM( americanmuscle.com) is also having a sale on suspension stuff right now. I'm sorry it's not much but it's a start. Dan from AM is always very helpful. You can send him a PM if you want more details on the AM products

Woah? How can you fit a driver & 5 kids in a mustang? I've got surgery coming up in the next two months and I'll be down for awhile afterwards. I'm thinking about putting my car in a storage until I recover.

If you go over he recommended max of 800 lbs in the car then it'll wreak havoc on the suspension. It'll blow shocks and struts quickly.

But I agree I would just upgrade

Unless you want to upgrade, im sure the stock springs will be fine. At worst the struts and shocks are done.
