2012 Mustang v6 Info?

I have the 2012 mustang v6 automatic with 2.73 rear axle ratio.
I wanted to get the 3.73 rear axle ratio and was wondering if it was worth it.
How much faster will the car go 0-60 and in general.
Will it effect the fuel efficiency greatly?
Also is the C&I cold air intake worth getting.
Will it make the 0-60 times fater and in general?
Will it give better fuel economy?
Are there any other mods worth getting.
I would like the car to go 0-60 just under 5 seconds.
THANK YOU MUCH APPRECIATED FOR ANY OTHER ANSWERS

"I wanted to get the 3.73 rear axle ratio and was wondering if it was worth it."

It'll cost about $600 to have a 3.73 ring and pinion swapped in. It's not something you can do yourself.

"How much faster will the car go 0-60 and in general."

Hard to say. with 3.73's you have to shift into 3rd before you hit 60 MPH, so that will add a tenth or two, and negate some of the gains from 3.73's.

"Will it effect the fuel efficiency greatly?

City mileage won't be effected too much if at all, highway mileage will probably drop by 2 or 3 MPG

"Also is the C&I cold air intake worth getting."

Probably won't hurt anything, but it'll probably require a tune to get the most out of it.

You should probably be aware than you'll void the powertrain warranty if you do any of this. Ford has been really cracking down on denying warranty coverage to 2011+ Mustangs with aftermarket mods.

Shortening the axle ratio might make it quicker, but it will undoubtedly make the mileage worse, especially highway. Think about it - if it made the car quicker and had better mileage don't you think Ford would have made them that way?

Cold air intake - little if any performance/economy improvement.

If you want to go under 5 secs 0-60 get a GT

Actually this is your lucky day, there is website that does exactly what you are looking for, there you can virtually set up your car and do any kind of mods, including of course changing final drives, and then run performance test to see how the performance was changed.

Try at http://www.nxgtrsim.com

The advertised 31 mpg comes with the 2.73 axle, the performance package is what you need with the if you want the performance...0 to 60 in 5.1 seconds and the quarter mile in 13.7 at 102.0 mph is advertised with the 3.31 axle...so with 3.73 axle you should see sub 5 second runs..
