Okay guys trouble!

So I'm in the process of getting my engine swap and I'm planning on reselling my old 4.0 to a youngster but just recently as I take off I've been getting a weird grinding sound at around 1,000 rpm it's short but it's there where could it be its pretty faint 4.0 2008 V6

I would check your pulleys. Maybe one is starting to go bad.

Mine starting to make a metallic sound and its idle tensioned pulley. It do it every once in a while over the summer, maybe once a month. Now its every morning til it gets warmed up. Its not loud but its not suppose to do that.

Yeah it's really faint tho it won't do it when I rev it at all. :/
It just does it at take off I could take off with a huge acceleration and you will hear it for a split second I can take off going two miles per hour you will hear but when I idle and rev nothing

Mine only happens at idle for a few seconds then quits, then back, then gone. So if it don't do it at idle, its probably something else. But you never know lol.
