Tune, cai, TB and plenum, full exhaust, pretty much anything that will allow more airflow

Will a TB do anything for response if you're not FI?

Idk I've heard more negatives then positives, a lot of people feel no real gain, I know JimC tested his ported and regular TB at the track and saw no difference, so IMO you could spend 300 on other things

You could request no delay on your bama tune, I'm going to be doing that

Gets rid of the delay on the throttle. It changes the delay to 1/4 of a second

Does that effect mpg at all? Or just creates no throttle lag?

It took me a day or two, but even with just the CAI alone, I was noticing quicker throttle response. That's not to say my car suddenly gained a million ponies and blew my rear end half way across the Pacific, however; the RESPONSE under throttle was obvious.

This one bolt-on alone totally changed my build list priorities.

Next, I'll be running just a 70mm TB, plugs, injectors and the works. I will get to the exhaust (damn, pricey) but for now, having that very sharp throttle response has and will totally change the driving dynamics of my car in traffic (not the track).

Also, as mentioned above, a short air or cold air intake sounds coolio. Like sucking, really hard, through a straw, into a microphone. It's nice.

Oh, and also importantly...

The RIGHT CAI under your hood just looks great.
