Sweet! I've still gota get a tuner and CAI and absolutely a limited slip diff and some gears and maybe a little suspension work as well

Yeah I had ALOT of work into it like the 4.5 L stroker kit cams heads 8.8 rear end with 4:10 custom one piece drive shaft custom intake manifold etc I put every dime I earn into it lmao an i some old ***** ran a red light an totaled my car but I had it dyno'd after I had all the motor work done n I had like 280 hp at the wheels all motor no one believed me till I showed them the pics

That's awesome man!!! That'd be like my dream for mine except minus the custom intake and replace it with an xcharger xtreme lol

Yeah I was torn on weather to get the eBay twin turbo kit or a super charger but i was pissed when geico totaled it but luckily I had most of the recites for the parts so I got a good amount of money for my car an parts so I paid cash for the 6 I have now threw some go fast parts on it an thAts what I have now lol the rest I'm saving for a Gt but I got to wait another year

I agree with everyone in the fact that just spending a little bit of money on the 6, unless like me you plan on keeping the car forever and your dedicated to it. Then I'd say save for a blower and some heads and cams and that would get you to about 400-440 hp safely

Or just get a new 5.0 with full bolt ons and drag radials and run 10's...

I just got my first stang 09. Just bought a bbk cai from autoanything for 161.00 if anyone is looking to buy one. planning on the tune next..Not sure how far i'll go as far as mods go but even without the mods imo its' still a fun car to drive .Plus im 56 yrs old so im not really planning on doing any street racing to old for that lol

Man, times have changed. My 1st car was an '88 GT. Also, I don't live in California, or any of those other states with super strict emissions rules. But that has nothing to do with age.

If you don't mind my asking; why are you not allowed to own a GT? Is it insurance? Parents? Fianances?

I'm just curious.

Well in Florida it's a ***** to get car insurance for a v8 if ur under 25 but I don't have any violations on my record so I don't have to wait that long but i could own a gt I just can't get insured yet
