Upgrade v6 or save?

So, I bought a 2007 v6 mustang, and I really want to start upgrading it with dual exhausts, tuner and intake, but I'm hesitating because I was told to save my money and a couple years from now just buy a new 5.0. Also, why does the 4.0 only have 210 hp?

I wouldn't be able to help doing a few mods. Dual exhaust for an 07 is a must imo. You should enjoy the car you drive so don't feel guilty spending a little money to make it more enjoyable.

Depends on multiple things. Lower insurance? A killer 4.0? Agree that it's whatever you want to do.

So even if I get the 100$ one, it won't see a noticeable difference between the two? Also, a friend of mine told me to get a plastic instead of chrome and just buy a K n N filter and throw the original one away. Do you think it's a good idea?

the power gains for the 4.0 are not great and wont get you anywhere close to where you want to be. Do small things here and there (things you dont mind losing the money on). Save for what you want, best way to go honestly.

Pretty much it's all in the tune get whatever cai u want if u don't have a tune then it's pointless an it doesn't matter if its plastic or metal .

Go with a CAI that has a good heat shield. AM sells a really cheap one with an extremely thin head shield And that's what you don't want. The thinner the heat shield the more likely you going to get more heat soak, which you don't want.
