Pony Package Suspension

I have a 2008 Pony Package and was just curious how the stance of the pony compares with that of the base V6 or the GT?? I've never found any charts for ride height or anything

Probably exactly the same since it's the same suspension.

Same as the base or GT? Cause it's different than the base

Nope the pp suspension is not the same as the v6. It's a gt inspired suspension.

Good question since I got a 2006 pony package mustang. Was always curious what the actual difference was in suspension.

Idk that the shocks and struts are any different from the Gt to the v6 base. When I've looked up and sold struts and shocks at work the exact part number was sold for v6 & GT

I wanna say the GT springs would be more stout since the engine is heavier. I know the GT sits lower than the base but the difference on the PP and base ? I would assume it would be the same as the GT but then if that were true about being stouter then the PP would sit even higher than the base? So idk! Lol sorry!!

If I had to bet then I would say the PP and base have the same springs but the PP has the suspension bars, whatever they're called? Sway bar or stabilizer bars? Something to that affect? What you say?

Nah I haven't and don't plan to any time soon, I'm more into adding power, drivetrain stuff, and exterior stuff

Same brakes as the base V6. I had the 2006 Pony package and changed to the GT front brakes (rears are the same) and there was a big difference in the front rotor size between the GT and V6/Pony package. The calipers are the same, just the rotor and caliper mounting bracket are different.

Yes, some modifications were made but they were easy. After taking off the grille I relocated my horns to the right side of the engine compartment where there was already an unused area. Then I had to saw a small piece of metal where the horn brackets used to be so the bigger lights would fit. Me and my friend did it(mostly him ill admit lol) in about 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Just make sure when you buy it says v6 base and that it wont fit a gt. Since the grilles are not the same. I apologize if my grammar is bad, just woke up and I am using my cell which autocorrects nothing only makes it worse lol.
