Starting Problem on V6

My 2008 V6 Mustang will not start. I know it is the starter. My friend has the same problem and it will not start one day and then it works again. But I do not know if my car is going to do the same. My friend took her car to the garage to get check and the the guy told her that the battery, the starter, and the alternater are all ok. So I was just curious if there was a problem that is going on with the 2005 and 2008 Mustangs.

Yes. We checked the grounds. We also check the relay switch but we are going to do that again in the morning so that we have light. But I have not checked the wires. Its hard to look with just a phone's flashlight. So we are waiting for morning to go over it more. Plus for my friend's mustang. When it gets a jump when dead it will start but the next week it dies again.

Does it make any sounds when you turn the key? Any clicks or flashing lights, theft light especially.

Does a clicking noise that sounds as though it is coming from the engine. But all my dashboard lights come on, my radio works, my windows work, and my wipers work.

I do know that it is not the battery because I have a new battery in it. Plus it isn't making the noise as though the battery is dead. Plus we have already tried to jump it but it does not work.

This may sound funny but try moving your steering wheel up and try to start it and if that doesn't work move it down and try that. My 99 v6 stang had a loose connection in the steering column and would only start when I tilted the wheel.

It was the starter. It had a crack in it.
