I don't believe you can. You can't transfer the tunes to a new car once they were on your car(even returned to stock). I saw a Q and A on the tuner and someone asked the same question and a staff member said that you'd have to buy another one. I would just make sure just in case

Keep the tuner and you will have to download new tunes from AM for your new car. Give them a call and they will tell you what you need to do. Do not try to download any existing tunes to your new car.

The device will work on your vehicle, however the current tunes will not. You'll need to get new tunes for your 2013 V6!

hmmm. I just talked to sct and have my locked tuner from my 2006. I wanted to unlock it and send it to them to use om my 2013 and they said I would need a new tuner and they would not work do to differences in software. I gave them the serial number and they said it would not work. It is an x3 3000 model. They said you would need the 3015 to work with the newer vehicles due to the differences in engine management systems and software on the newer vehicles... ??? Which is true?

The older SCT will not work on the 2013 - the programming is much bigger in terms of memory and the older devices can't hold the information.

Because of all the data I find that my 2013 takes much longer to load a new tune than the 2006 did.

Dan is the man, when I lost my 2006 V6 right after my tuner purchase, he hooked me up with free tunes towards my next 'Stang. He's the go to guy.
