Aftermarket Exhaust

I have a 2007 manual V6 mustang, I want to get rid of my stock exhaust and get a possible dual exhaust, is this a good idea, I also want it to sound low and angry, but nice, could I get ideas and price ranges? Thanks I appreciate it!

Yeah you definitely want true dual, not just a single! I've got Pypes mid muffler catback and Pypes shorty headers

That's basically the same thing as mine. I have shorty headers though. Idk if he does or not.

I have to agree with him on this. I just bought my 05 and it came with the same setup and wow for a v6 it sounds amazing. The only bad part about the system is keeping your foot out of it going under bridges. haha

Got to agree pipes mid dual exhaust is worth it. About $600 with some nice headers your in business. Any good decent exhaust set-up empties the pocket just a little bit.

what would be the cheapest set up for dual exhaust? did anybody just put the muffler tips since that's cheaper? I definitely want something decent but also cheap!

There's already two threads about exhaust currently going on... Where have you been?

A good exhaust setup is going to run you at least $500. I don't know why people don't get it that cars aren't cheap and car parts especially aren't cheap either.

I think that it's a learning experience. Maybe even a "hope against hope" thing that you can somehow find someone with a magic bullet solution. Anyway, that's one of the reasons that this forum exists, to ask and learn.

Muffler delete. Chop it off and weld on a straight pipe
