thats a flip up to me too, would love the sound of a 5.0 with some long tubes but i would think more people would have respect for a v6 that beat a GT over just a GT that beats a GT.

Yeah I'm just wanting the power of the 5.0 an I won't see the same kinda gains as I would in a gt but I have so much time an money invested in my v6 an Mach 1 it's hard to decide

A couple of other things to consider. If you get a v8 mustang you will pay more for insurance. Is your car paid for? If you have payments you may not have money for all the goodies you want for the car. If your car is paid for spend the money on it and have the bragging writes to whooping a v8. I've beat a few v8's just the way mine is now and hung in with a few I didn't beat. Makes me smile when they don't believe it's a v6 and they want to look under the hood. Anyway just some thoughts.

Yeah your right about a lot of that I raced a v8 a few nights ago and was at his door and all I have is stage one clutch short shifter cold air and tune and exhaust so stick with the v6

Money isn't a huge issue I can afford it or I wouldn't be looking for a gt but I got the dealer to get down to 22k for a gray 2012 gt so I think I may just trade in one of my cars

Good luck with your decision, I know I am liking my new V6 but there is still something about the throatiness or the deep growl of the v8 along with the head snapping torque. This why I am glad I kept my 98GT, I can always just jump in that car to give me that extra kick I am looking for.
