Need help ASAP

A friend of mine brought her 2008 V6 mustang because water is coming in from somewhere underneath her passenger dash. She already had the plugs checked, and the cabin filter is clean.... Any other ideas????? Currently have it torn apart in my garage....

Is it water? Or coolant?

Sounds like it could be the heater core. Check that water and see if it smells like coolant.

It happens to me 2 years ago and brought it up to the dealership, they took out the cowl hood and clean inside it. They said it clogged with pine needles. So i think thats the same problem with your friend, i know you check the plug but check it again..

I had this problem for the longest time. Basically foolow the water leak TSB. I had water coming in from the top of the door area because Ford's foam seal sucks. Another problem could be that the grommets are bad. If you haven't, you should replace all 10 grommets in the cowl area or seal them up. And finally, I know some people had a problem with some welds that you can only seal up if you take the front fender off. Hope that helps. TSB is 07-14-6

I had the same problem and my car always ended getting locked up on park, I basically followed the fuses and water was coming thru the whole that leads to the fuse box under the hood
