New changes..

I need to put some aftermarket parts on my car, whether it be cosmetic or performance. It is a 2006 4.0 V6, all stock, straight from a dealer. Here's a few pics to see an idea of what you all could suggest..

I had an 07 v6 I had put the street scene gen II exhaust and rear valance on mine and I loved it. It's a rear center exhaust system.

either checkout americanmuscle.com or any other mustang website and pickup a dual exhaust kit or go to your local muffler shop and see what theyd charge to run you a dual exhaust setup

Exactly what they've said so far. There are so many options out there that by the time u see them all, u will be like holy crap, I want them all. Cervini body kits are amazing. Tinted lights, side scoops, change grills, painted mirrors, just so much.

Exactly. Don't try to copy anyone's style but see how sweet his car is? With just a little cash and thought, you can make urs exactly how u want it.

Think of your car as an extension of your personality. The only rule here is, don't rice it out lol. Jp.

I'm waiting on my raxiom aero taillights to get here from am and the other exterior mods I want to do is a hood. Gt c/s front end and some quarter window covers and side scoops and a black billet fuel door.

First, the essentials. A 4" or 8" 'shorty' antenna along with a sequential taillight kit.

What I call "The Big Three": A CAI+tune combo, a true dual exhaust conversion, and new wheels.

The items mentioned above I believe are what our 05-09s are missing out of the showroom floor.

Swap that ugly 27" antenna out for a 4", sequential taillights make your car stand out from every other make and model in the world, a CAI+tune will open up your world for power and future engine mods, and a true dual setup will let even more air flow, let out that muscle car sound, and get rid of that lame single exhaust outlet.

Lastly, 16s just won't cut it. You can't go wrong with 18s, but I think 19s are perfect for our S197s. Don't do a plastidip job and call it a day with your rims. New rims can completely change the attitude of your Mustang, so its definitely a worthy investment.

Notice almost all of the aforementioned parts are now all standard on the 2011+ models.

From here on out, I'd say you'd have a pretty solid pony and now add your own touch, like a new grille, window louvers, stripes or decals, a new spoiler, whatever you like. Make it yours.

Here's some before and after pics of my 2006 V6.

I like the black racing stripes on mine, also silver, like yours. Only problem is I want to add a hood scoop and not sure how that will work around the stripes. I'm also looking at blacked out wheels.

I swapped out my grille and got sequential tail lights. Going to do duel exhaust this summer (I hope) and new rims and tires after that. Those are the things that really change the look of the car and set it apart from every other V6 on the planet.

Yeah I've wondered the same thing with adding a good scoop with my stripes. Not sure how to go about it

Hold off on the wheels because you don't NEED them right now. Depending on your finances, go with performance first. CAI and tune and exhaust if you don't have it already.
