XCharger Instructions

I wanna get the intercooler setup for my XCharger just don't feel like spending another $2000 on just the intercooler alone from Explorer Express.... I can get the AFCO intercooler, the same one one the cobra's for $325, Bosch water pump for $100 and then order the 2.6 pulley from EP... Just don't see how to upgrade is worth 2G's? So anyone have the instructions on how the extreme is installed?

The intercooler isn't the front mounted heat exchanger. The intercooler uses that plus a smaller "radiator" mounted between the blower and lower intake housing.

Where do you think that the coolant in the AFCO that you are pumping is going to go?

You can see the intercooler itself in this picture of the lower housing (the blower is upside down on the work bench):

If all you get is the AFCO heat exchanger to mount in front of the bumper, the pump, the coolant reservoir, and the hoses - you have no where to run the coolant to.

The upgrade uses the heat exchanger and a new lower intake that has been modified for the intercooler, and a new lid with the intercooler mounted in it. There are a few other modifications too that are needed to accommodate the set up.

Yes I know all that already. I have the new intake with the intercooler under the blower already. Just want to now how everything else is set up to run into it.

If you have the new Xcharger with the revised lower you don't have the intercooler in it. The "radiator" part is missing. It is just an opening if you don't order the Xtreme. There is some plugged up ports on the front, but if you run the coolant to those you will just be dumping it into your engine through the opening.
