Pony package grille

So, I have an 07 pony package v6. Prior to doing the research, I bought a gt grille because I like the mean look of the bigger fogs. I now see posts about gt grilles not fitting on the v6. I just took off the pony pkg grille and tried the gt grille on .. Looks like the guy was incorrect with it fitting on the v6. I'm beyond furious right now.... Is it a v6 fitting issue or a pony pkg fitting issue?

I feel as though, maybe they do the pony pkg fascia so you can only have the pony pkg.. Can someone please make my day slightly better...?

The GT grille and the v6 grilles are just different, I believe the tab placements are different. I don't know fords reasoning for that though

Yeah, really sorry man! Just keep the grille and save up for the more aggressive looking gt front bumper anyways!

You can buy a GT "style" grille that is made for the V6 bumper, but an actual GT grille will not. It's not a Pony Package issue, the non-PP and PP mustangs share the exact same bumper, just a different grille. You can always try to sell the grille you bought and put the money towards something like this: Mustang GT Style Replacement Grille w/ Fog Lights (05-09 V6) 215831P3 - Free Shipping!
With these grilles you can use your existing PP fog wiring harness, you'll just have to remove an adapter braid that's installed on there. Hope this helps!

I'm so glad you asked this as I have the exact same car and was wondering the exact same thing. There are different grilles that you can get especially fitted for the PP V6 that look nice too. But I think we're stuck with the smaller fog lights.

I just found on American muscle that you can get the gt grille made to fit the v6 that's my next modification.

Hey babe!
We both have PP woooo!

Yeah the GT grille won't fit on the V6 due to different front fascias, the PP still has the same front fascia as any other V6, if you had a GT front end it would fit

What you can do love is go to eBay, they have thousands of choices in every finish and even I've already looked at a few larger fogs myself. You're bound to find a fitting grille there it sucks that the guy sold you out, hopefully he'll take a return? If not just post if for sale here someone should buy it

Also check compatibility, return policy and seller ratings when buying car parts on eBay!

I have hids for the car that I haven't put in yet because I want it all to match and I refuse to do anything to these fog lights. They were the one thing I did not like when I bought the car I just decided to do the rear end first. I'm sorry, I'm determined. I refuse to settle when I have a certain look I'm going for
